How to overcome nervousness

There are many situations in which people feel extremely nervous such as an upcoming examination, an important game, a job interview, a public presentation, etc. Overcoming these anxieties is really important and meaningful to anyone who has to suffer from the consequences of his or her nervousness. If you are facing those problems, some tips below will be very useful and helpful to overcome nervousness.


1. Always imagine positive things:
Instead of thinking about the worst things you have to face ahead, which usually brings you a lot of nervousness, you should imagine the best things you can achieve. For example, you are going to have a really important presentation, stop imagining how your boss’s face or your teacher’s or how the audience will react if you cannot do it well. Do some light exercises like touching your feet by your hands or walking or swimming. For instance, before a presentation, you should prepare things like the content, your clothes, your answers for the audience’s questions, and so on.

4. Find the causes for your nervousness
This is the first and necessary thing you should do. They may be spiders, public speaking, work pressure, even your boss, etc. Definining the causes of your nervousness helps you understand it clearly and then, find appropriate solutions to overcome it later.
